→ 「가까이」 ― nearly ~ 「영국에 가는데 2개월 가까이 걸렸다」에서는 it takes … to ~ 의 구문을 사용한다. 「20시간도 안 걸려」는 「20시간 이내에」라고 보고 within twenty hours; in less than twenty hours로 한다. 「갈 수 있다」의 주어는 we나 you를 사용한다. 「배로」는 by ship; by sea, 「제트기로」는 by jet plane으로, 이렇게 「by+교통수단」에는 관사가 안 붙지만, by 대신 in을 사용하면 in a ship, in a jet plane이라고 붙는다.

Producer Price Index: 생산자물가지수
국내시장의 제1차 거래단계에서 기업 상호간에 거래되는 commodities(상품)의
평균적인 price change(가격변동)를 측정하기 위해 작성되는 지수.
옛 이름인 'wholesale price index(도매물가지수)'에서의 'wholesale(도매)'의
의미는 wholesaler(도매상) 또는 대리점에서의 판매를 의미하는 것이 아니라
대량거래가 이루어지는 생산자 단계의 판매를 의미한다는 뜻이다.
따라서 지수작성에 사용되는 가격은 제1차 거래단계의 가격, 즉 domestic
products(국내생산품)의 경우는 value-added tax(부가가치세)를 제외한
producer sale price(생산자판매가격, 공장도가격)를 원칙으로 하고 있다.
반면에 수입품의 경우는 importer sale price(수입업자 판매가격)를 원칙으로
하고, 이것이 불가능할 경우에는 다음 거래 단계인 대량도매상 또는

Stimulating the government to patch together the plan has been the

The Korean economy is based on exports. Last year, the nation's
exports grew a hefty 24.1 percent on a volume basis and contributed to

Firm Measures For Labor's Return

The Korean Confederation of Trade Union(KCTU) has withdrawn from the
Tripartite Committee, comprised of labor, management and government
sectors.
The worry became a reality and even more concerning is that the other large
union organization, the Federation of Korean Trade Union (FKTU), is
preparing to back out this week, as well.
After only 13 months have expired since its creation, the Committee is in
danger of extinction. It will almost certainly cause additional instability in the
labor market.
