그런데 singles bar(독신자들이 모여 데이트 상대를 찾는 술집)
cf) Can I bum a cigarette?
Do you mind putting out your cigarette?

You are talking over my head.
* 미국인들이 쓰는 회화에서 You've lost me.
그러니까 I don't understand. 또는
I don't know what you are talking about. 또는
I don't get(or dig) it. 또는 I don't follow you.
You are talking over my head.
I don't follow you very well. 또는
Would you mind using simpler words?
This movie is over my head.
It's beyond me도 I don't understand.
I can't do it.

You are being fresh.
Don't be fresh나 Don't be forward는
Mind your manners도 같은 뜻이다.

You read my mind.
* I was about to say the same thing '
You took the words out of my mouth라는
You read my mind

Please understand my mind. (X)
① Please try to understand what I'm saying.(제 말뜻을 이해해주세요.)
② I hope you can understand me.(절 이해해주시길 바래요.)
③ I hope you don't misunderstand me.(오해하지 마셨으면 합니다.)
④ Please, consider my position.(제 입장을 고려해주세요.)

It's not my mind. (X)
① That's not what I meant.(그런 뜻이 아니었어.)
② I didn't mean to say it like that.
You've got me wrong.(그건 오해야.)
④ I think I've given you the wrong impression.

You don't know what your talking about.
(= You are out of mind.) * out of mind :

No,I don't. = No,not at all. Sure.:

A young lawyer began working in our office.
Her first trial was coming up, and she worked diligently on her case.
Several other experienced lawyers occasionally dropped in to see how she was doing and to offer help.
The day before her trial, she mentioned that she wasn't getting much sleep lately with the upcoming trial on her mind.
One of the experienced lawyers overheard and stopped to offer his support.
“Relax,” he said.
“Your case is well prepared, and you know your stuff.”
The beginning lawyer turned to him and replied with a smile,
“I'm not worried about my case - I'm worried about what to wear.”

Most people have great difficulties making their own decisions when they are not sure what to do.
They often let close friends and relatives influence them through opinions.
They even allow gossiping neighbors to express their thoughts for them.
If you are influenced by the opinions of others whenever you reach decisions, you will not succeed in anything you do.
Remember you have a brain and mind of your own.
You should use it and reach your own decisions.
