The city of Kalamazoo, Michigan, derives its name from a Native
American word meaning "bubbling springs."
미시간주의 Kalamazoo 라는 도시는 "bubbling springs." (거품이
일어나는 샘물)을 의미하는 미국원주민의 단어로부터 그 이름이 유래한다.
Farmers of maize, beans, and tobacco, the Wendat, Native
American tribes that inhabited present-day Michigan, lived
a sedentary life in densely populated villages.
