Don't make a federal case out of this.

Could you make an exception in this case?

Oh, surely you can make an exception in our case…old, steady customers like us.

In case you don't make it, there's a very nice little restaurant across the street that stays open until late.

As a consumer of goods and services, you will sometimes need to communicate with a manufacturer concerning the quality of what you have purchased.
Notes of praise take very little effort and can make a big difference to the receiver.
It is especially thoughtful in the case of direct service.
Waiters, gas station attendants, or flight attendants all deserve positive feedback.
Sending an acknowledgment to the management of the organization that provided the service is a means of communication that consumers can use more often.
These contacts can be made in writing or verbally.

ected, owned, or exhibited in the traditional sense.
Often preferring concepts over materials, modern artists use materials in the broadest sense.
As a result, they have gone beyond the natural environment.
Their works use everything from neon lights and computers to the artists' own bodies, as artistic mediums.
Artists and art works can therefore become identical, as in the case of Body Art.
On the other hand, they can be distant from each other.
For example, an artist might phone workers in a museum, instructing them on how to make a work that he has not seen or touched himself.

No wonder it is so nice.

The pluralistic vision of the human aspiration to live a good life must
not be interpreted on the model of there being a common destination that
we may reach in different ways. The notion of a common destination is
itself deeply at odds with pluralism. If a metaphor is wanted, artistic
creation is perhaps less unsatisfactory than others. We make our lives
the way artists make works of art. We and artists start from some
context, some tradition, some educa- tional influences on us; we are
limited by what we bring to it by way of talents, imagination, and
skill, as well as by the available possibilities and by the demands and
expectations of other people in our context; and then we do what we can,
and we succeed, fail, or banally fall somewhere in between. But the
product, the life or the work of art, is going to be different in each
case, because the contributions made to it by the tradition, by our
individuality, and by the mixture we concoct of the two are also
different.

One of the most dangerous illusions about business (or, indeed, any
activity involving human beings and human institutions) is that it can
be treated as a game of perfect information. Quite the reverse.
Business, politics, life itself are games which we must normally play
with very imperfect information. Many a business decision involves odds
that would make a professional poker player shudder, for the number and
extent of the unknown and unknowable factors are themselves often
incalculable. But few organizations find it comfort- able or congenial
to admit that they are gambling, and many still prefer to
delude themselves that they are playing a sober, responsible game of
chess and are not engaged, as is often the case, in a fling at the poker
table.

The quota is a hardly defensible barrier to free trade,
regardless of the *rationale to *sustain it. No Korean would
deny that the preservation of our unique culture and its
identity has an essential significance. But, the strength of
our cultural identity is not so fragile as to totally
disintegrate upon the opening of our film market. Nor will
the scrapping of the quota make Korea an American cultural
colony, which was the case being made by protesters Thursday.
This incredible claim cannot be sustained on *empirical
grounds. None of the countries of the world has, thus far,
been a victim of American cultural imperialism, although
their markets are fully open to U.S. movies.

▲ empirical: relying on observation and experiment not on

In the case of shared houses where multiple people share one, the criteria will also be strengthened to make it easier to be recognized as an owned house during the taxation of rental income.

In the case of special emergency welfare support, 141.3 billion won will be provided to crisis households with a median income of 75 percent or less, which has become particularly difficult to make a living due to COVID-19.

He added, "The defendant admitted to the crime, regretted his wrongdoing, paid most of the taxes he evaded after the crime and did not make any personal gains from borrowed-name accounts, which were all reflected in the reasons for advantageous assessment of the case."

Bang ji-whan, head of the Central Infectious Disease Hospital, said, "There is a limit to the resources to hospitalize all patients. In the case of mild patients, we should consider the way to make them stay at home and take drugs."

In response, he/she said, In the case of the elderly, people living with less immune people, and people in the cooking industry, make sure to wash their hands thoroughly after using the bathroom or when preparing food to prevent the spread of infectious diseases in advance.

The nature of the crime is grave considering the relationship between the parties involved in the case, the timing and the amount of bribery, the court said. "However, it seems that he did not make specific and explicit requests and responded passively to the other party's request."

It was hardly a new theme. Gates, who traditionally gives the trade
show's keynote address, has long promoted the idea that ever-smaller,
more convenient devices will help consumers take advantage of an
increasingly connected world, with Microsoft providing much of
the technology behind it all.
But this year's speech was notable for what Gates did not discuss: U.S.
District Judge Thomas Penfield Jackson's Nov. 5 finding that Microsoft
is a monopoly that has hurt consumers and stifled competition.
That finding, issued in the federal government's long-running
antitrust case against Microsoft, could make it harder for Microsoft
to provide the technology for the next wave of Internet devices,
which will be much leaner and lighter than personal computers.

The lawyers say they will continue their litigation even if the federal
case is settled out of court. Jackson's findings of fact alone, they
insist, ease the way for suits like theirs.
"A settlement in the government's case wouldn't make our case go away,"
Gross said. "We still have these findings that Microsoft is a monopoly
that abused its power by overcharging consumers."

whatever.

A:고맙습니다.
