law school 법과 대학원 *3년제를 가리킨다.

In 1852 Massachusetts passed a law requiring all children from
four to eighteen years of age to attend school.
1852년에 Massachusetts 주는 4세에서 18세의 모든 어린이들에게 학교에
다닐 것을 요구하는 법을 통과시켰다.

* college와 university의 차이점은?
-> college : 단과대학 또는 대학원이 없는 경우
university : 단과대학들이 모여 이룬 종합대학 또는 대학원
과정이 있는 경우를 말한다.
그러나 일반적인 경우는 위와같은 원칙을 따른 구분이 아니라
예외적인 경우가 더 많다.
즉, 단과대학의 경우 school이란 말을 써서
school of management : 경영대학
school of education : 사범대학
law school : 법과대학이라고 한다.
university 앞에 the를 붙이는 경우와 안붙이는 경우가 있는
데 이것은 학교마다 다르다고 한다.
즉 일률적으로 구분하기가 어렵다고 한다.
