권영진 대구시장은 질병관리본부의 실험실 오염 판단으로 진단 검사가 중지된 영남대병원에 대해 하루빨리 검사를 재개해야 한다고 주장했다.

경기도 용인시의 권혁준씨는 지난달 말 딸 권주희 양이 1형 당뇨라는 진단을 받았다.
