Writing and editing are distinct processes.
Writing requires you to let the words flow as they come to you.
Editing requires you to stop and critically assess each word.
It is hard to stay in the creative flow when you are stopping after every word to criticize what you've just written.
If you try to write your first draft and edit it at the same time,
you're likely to lose your concentration and get caught up in details instead of delivering your message.
By the time you finish the first paragraph, you are likely to be frustrated and unable to remember what you originally intended to say.
글쓰기와 다듬기는 다른 과정이다.
글쓰기를 할 때는 머리에 떠오르는 말이 자연스럽게 흘러가도록 해야 한다.

The average person expresses himself differently in writing and in speaking. With
proper practice the difference can be overcome, and one's writing will become more
like his talk.
