This is to protect them from the long, dry, cold, and windy winter, and to help them to survive through to the spring.
The blue flower is like the 'dew of the stars.'
7월 중순 어느 날 나는 내몽고에 갔었다.
야생화로 가득한 끝없는 평원이 펼쳐져 있었다.

텐트 주변의 초원은 비록 그 종류는 내가 한국에서 알고 있는 그것들과는 달랐지만 물망초로 바다를 이루고 있었다.
그 물망초들의 잎과 줄기는 기울어지고 연약해 보였지만, 철사만큼이나 단단해 보였다.
이것은 건조하고 추운 바람이 부는 긴 겨울날씨로부터 자신들을 보호해주고 봄까지 생존할 수 있도록 해준다.
물망초의 파란 꽃은 ‘별의 이슬'과 같다.

Because the fox’s ears are so small, they don’t lose much heat.
And the extra-thick fur helps keep the fox warm.
