T : What's wrong with S1? Why is he lying on his face?
S2 : He's not feeling well. He has caught a bad cold. He has been sick for two days.
T : Oh! That's too bad. You should be careful about your health, especially during the winter.
S1 : (Standing up) Mr. Shin, may I go to the infirmary to take medicine and rest for a while? I have a fever and a bad headache. I can't stand it any longer.
T : Of course you may go. And after school, you'd better go see a doctor.

T : Nam-su, what's the matter with you?
S : I've got a fever and a really bad headache.
T : Oh, that's too bad. Why don't you take some aspirin in the nurse's room?
S : I've already tried that. But I took some already and it didn't help. I feel nauseous.
T : Well, maybe you should go home and see a doctor.
S : I think so.
T : I'll call your mother to pick you up.
S : Thank you.

S1 : Well, I did. But he said he is too busy with more urgent problems around the school, so he can't fix it right now.
S2 : And two light bulbs in the stairway between the second and third floor are out too. Let's go to the maintenance office and tell them.

One day, a poor man named Scott, came to visit Taylor.
He said, “Taylor, I need your help. I am a poor man, a man with no money.”
Taylor looked at him kindly and answered, “I'll help you. Tell me what's wrong.”
Scott said, “Yesterday I stopped in front of the door of a restaurant.
The restaurant belonged to a rich man.
I only smelled the food.
However, he wanted me to pay him for the food.
And he called the judge.
The judge said I must go to the court today.
Please Taylor, can you help me?”
In the court the rich man began shouting angrily at Scott.
And the judge asked Scott to pay him right now.
Taylor stepped forward and then said, “This poor man is my elder brother. I will pay you instead.”
After he heard this, the rich man smiled, thinking about his payment.
Then Taylor took a bag of money from his belt, a bag of copper coins.
He bent down next to the rich man and shook the bag.
“Listen. Do you hear this sound?” said he.
“Of course I hear it,” shouted the rich man impatiently.
Well, then,” answered Taylor, “the problem is solved. The debt is paid.
My brother has smelled your food, and you have heard his money.”
The poor man was saved.
Taylor

After we had all survived that first day, we built an even better relationship with the teacher, and we learned a lot.
And whenever I felt particularly stressed, angry or sad, I would go sit under the tea bag and talk to her.
She was definitely a friend as well as a teacher.

Such claims predictably do not go down well in Athens -or with some other
scholars who have studied Alexander's life.

A man was telling one of his friends the secret of his contented married
life. "My wife makes all the small decisions," he explained, "and I make
all the big ones, so we never interfere in each other's business and
never get annoyed with each other. We have no complaints and no arguments."
"That sounds reasonable." answered his friend sympathetically.
"And what sort of decisions does your wife make?"
"Well," answered the man. "she decides what jobs I apply for, what sort
of house we live in, what furniture we have, where we go for our holidays,
and things like that."
His friend was surprised. "Oh?" he said. "And what do you consider
important decisions then?"
"Well," answered the man, "I decide who should be Prime Minister,
what we should do about the atom bomb, and things like that."

The year will go down in history as a productive one with regard to the international standing of Korean films.
After being steadily presented at well-known international film festivals, Korean films finally crossed the threshold when they won consecutive best director awards at Cannes and Venice.
Director Im Kwon-taek won the best director award at this year's 55th Cannes International Film Festival for his movie "Chihwaseon" in May.

Korea has been lauded as a successful model in coping with the financial crisis, but to people in countries such as Nepal, Bangladesh and Pakistan, it has exported the image of a "horrible country."
A Japanese writer said, "Koreans who had suffered have now become a people who oppress others."
Her book continues, "Korea is a country where foreigners find it difficult to live.
There are no residence rights and it is the only country in the world where a Chinatown failed.
Koreans are well aware of issues concerning green cards in the US and fingerprinting in Japan,
but completely ignorant about what foreigners go through in Korea."

Ross, ten o'clock.
Is it? Feels like two.
No, ten o'clock.
/ What?
There's a beautiful woman at eight, nine, ten o'clock!
Oh. Hel-lo!
She's amazing! She makes the women that I dream about look like short, fat, bald men!
Well, go over to her! She's not with anyone.
Oh yeah, and what would my opening line be? 'Excuse me. Blarrglarrghh.'
Oh, c'mon. She's a person, you can do it!
Oh please, could she be more out of my league? Ross, back me up here.

You're kidding! Did you tell her I wasn't?
No.
아니.
No, it's just 'cause, uh, I kinda wanted to go out with her too, so I told her, actually, you were seeing Bernie Spellman...

Well, this is fascinating. So, uh, what is it about me?
I dunno, 'cause you're smart, you're funny...
Ross is smart and funny, d'you ever think that about him?
WHAT IS IT?!
Okay, I-I d'know, you-you just- you have a quality.
Yes. Absolutely. A quality.
Oh, oh, a quality, good, because I was worried you guys were gonna be vague about this.

You mean that?
Yeah, why not. So I told her.
Yeah? How'd it go?
Awful. Awful. Couldn'ta gone worse.
Well, howdya feel?
Pretty good! I told her.
Well, see? So, maybe it wasn't such a bad idea, y'know, me kissing your mom, uh? Huh? But.. we don't have to go down that road.
Okay. Now this is just the first chapter, and I want your absolute honest opinion. Oh, oh, and on page two, he's not 'reaching for her heaving beasts'.
What's a 'niffle'?
You usually find them on the 'heaving beasts'.
Alright, alright, so I'm not a great typist...
Wait, did you get to the part about his 'huge throbbing pens'? Tell ya, you don't wanna be around when he starts writing with those!

C'mon up.
Oh, good. Rog is here.
What's the matter with Rog?
Oh, it's nothing, it's a little thing I hate that guy.
What, so he was a little analytical.
That's what he does, y'know?
C'mon, he's not that bad.
Y'see, that's where you're wrong.
Why would I marry her if I thought on any level thatthat she was a lesbian?
I dunno.
Maybe you wanted your marriage to fail.
Why? Why would I why? Why? Why? Why?
I don't know.
Maybe maybe low self-esteem, maybe maybe to compensate for overshadowing a sibling, maybe you
Wait-wait, go back to that sibling thing.
Well, I don't know.
I mean, it's conceivable that you wanted to sabotage your marriage so that the sibling would feel less of a failure in the eyes of the parents.

That sounds so weird when it's not followed by "No thanks, it's late."
Okay.
Now this is just for tonight. Starting tomorrow, you gotta make a change. This has gone on long enough.

I mean, what, were you just full of it?
I'm in.

Full house.
You got me.
- Ahhh, that's alright. Y'know, that's a tough hand to beat.
- I thought we had them!

Hi. How'd it go with Peter?
It went well.
Is he game?

how much of his total net worth is in nuclear power?
About a third.
Sixteen reactors here in the States, 37 worldwide.
Well, that's what we hit him with.
We go after his nuclear interests.
Even so, he's got $25 billion in other investments...

Ms. Cole claims that you said,

and, quote, go focus on your baby.
Can I see that?
It's completely false. I...
I never said that.
She claims you did.
It's her word against mine, right?
Well, juries are very sympathetic with expecting mothers.
This is extortion.
We don't want this going to trial, Claire.
You and your husband are public figures.
This will result in some very bad press.
I suggest we go back to them with a settlement offer.

All right. Draw up a request from the Defense Department.

As long as they're in the loop, we'll be all right.

Look, I gotta go. Call me back as soon as you got anything.
Walk with me for a sec.
What is it, Jack?
Why is there all this security here?
Who wants to hurt Janet?
Today someone is going to try and kill David Palmer.
What?
That's why I was brought in last night.
Well, why is Janet in danger?
Because she was with Kim.

I heard the Stardust is good.
No. What he should do is go to his first team. My team.
Teams, Conrad, I didn't know this was a competition,
Well, it is. And my team usually wins.
Oh, really?

Could you provide me with a list of your distributors?
I really don't have a list.
Why?
I was hoping I could do a credit card search,

Maybe run some names. See if any "priors" pop up.

I would really love to help you, Mr. Grissom,

I don't crunch the numbers.
I just spook the children.
Of course you do.
I'm sure you do it well.

Well, photograph and lift.
We'll have someone to compare it to soon enough.
Okay, bear with me.
I mean, you're one of only ten guys in the country that understands this stuff.
I think there's at least fifteen,
but go on...

How would you characterize your relationship with Kristy Hopkins?
So we can just cut the crap?

I saw him kill Kristy. I saw everything.
Go on.

Well, Kristy and I had words.
I was just swinging by her place to tell her I was so sorry.
But uh,
I didn't expect to see her with a guy.

Alright. Time out now. I had a half a Caesar and a coffee.

Excellent idea, Sara. You're catching on. I'd love to.
Uh, Brass, uh, cough it up.

I don't think that is a case.
Well, it was at the start of shift.
A crime has been committed.

And every time a dog gets run over you can't go to the vet to examine it.
I can't believe you.

Well, here's your problem.
Looks like somebody stuffed a bunch of popsicle sticks down here.
I've told julie a million times not to play in the kitchen.
Kids, you know?

I'm not being flip. I'm just pointing out a reality.
Mary Alice was so excited about it. It's so sad.
I think we should go through with it.
Really? Wouldn't that be in poor taste?
No. It's sort of a way to honor Mary Alice. It was so important to her
We could all use a fun night.
Well, good, because I have some new flwer that I have been just dying to show off.

I've got to take off, but I'll call you about wednesday night, okay?
Edie, wait.
Mike and I were going to go see the movies on wednesday, and I just thought it would be fun if you joined us.
You want me to come with you?
Yeah. Yeah, that's okay, isn't it, Mike?
Well, it's, uh, a limited engagement, and it's sold out. I've only got two tickets.

Okay, fine. I'll go out with you.
Great. I'll call you.
Now that you've gotten your date, you can tell me what that really means -- that 907a.
Someone's tv was playing too loud.
Well, thank god for the thin blue line.
I'll call you.

Hello.
Hey, it's me.
Oh, hi, Rex. How are you?
Is something wrong?
Well, I was just about to grab dinner from the motel vending machine,
and it occurred to me, what the heck? I'll go out.
Would you like to have dinner with me?

You are unhappy with our sex life because you're not getting something from me,
but you're simply too afraid to ask.
My -- my problem with our sex life is that you can't stop thinking about the housework.
Well, if that's the case, then take me right here, right now.
The house is spotless, there are no burritos lying around to pull my focus.
I'm not in the mood.
Why not?
We haven't had sex for months, Rex.
Most normal, red-blooded men would be climbing the walls by now.
Please don't do this.
Rex, whatever you want, I'll go there with you.

The thrill of the chase.
I've been wondering to myself,
"why are you so hell-bent on getting me to go out with you?"
You know you're my boss, you know it's against the rules,
you know I keep saying no -- it's the chase.
Well, it's fun, isn't it?
You see?
This is a game to you.
But not to me.
Because, unlike you, I still have something to prove.

I like a man with kind eyes.
Really? You think I have kind eyes?
I mean, uh... you can, um...
이제..
What are you examining me for?
Oh, you know, just routine medical stuff.
You're doing very well.
Because I'm enjoying the view.
Okay... well...
이제..
I got to go.

I just had a conversation with Mr. Patterson.
I want copies of his wife's chart in my office by 5:00.
Tomorrow, the two of you are going to meet with me and legal,
and you better damn well be able to explain what happened here.
People poking holes in hearts and leaving towels.
You're gonna go back and talk to the husband.
Review the history.
Apologize profusely.
Your ass is on the line here, Dr. Grey.
You got called before the Chief?

I mean, I never do anything till the last possible minute.
Like what?
Well...
I've had this thing for my roommate since, like, day one, and I just --
I... can't tell her.
She probably wouldn't go out with me, anyway, but...
how do I know that for sure if I... don't ever ask?
Seriously? You're equating your pathetic love life with my record-breaking tumor?
Seriously?

Oh, you want to go out for a drink later and hear about my secret pain?
Does that line ever work for you?
Sometimes.
Must be because you look like that.
Like what?
So, is that a yes?
No.
아니
I can't. I'm seeing someone.
Look, if you don't want to go out with me, just say so --
no need to lie.
Oh, okay.
알았어
Well, I don't want to go out with you.
But I think I really might be seeing someone.

Don’t I always have your back?

If I say no? There’s no guarantees Jeremiah, you know that.

Well, should I just go home?
Well, unless you drank the whole liquor bottle, you'll be sober in a few hours.
And the i.v. Fluids will head off your hangover.
Then you can assist with the many mangled victims you see spread out before you.
Besides, if I'm not going home, nobody's going home.
Ten years of marriage. I didn't even get to finish my damn lobster.
