"How To Lose Weight Overnight"
-
1. Weigh yourself with clothes on, after dinner.
Do it again the next morning, before breakfast,
without clothes on. You'll lose 2 pounds.
-
2. Never weigh yourself with wet hair.
-
3. When weighing, remove everything, including
glasses. In this case, blurred vision is an asset.
-
4. Use cheap scales only, never use the medical
or digital kind.
-
5. Always go to the bathroom first.
-
6. Stand with arms raised, making pressure
on the scale lighter.
-
7. Weigh yourself after a haircut, this is good
for at least half a pound of hair.
-
8. Exhale with all your might BEFORE stepping
onto the scale (air has to weigh something, right?)

I want my cat spayed.
I want my cat neutered.
-
to play cat and mouse는 기억나시죠?
cat and mouse라고 하면
It's a real game of cat and mouse
between the multinationals and the small independent companies.
-
While the cat's away, the mice will play.
-
Cat got your tongue?
Why aren't you answering me? Cat got your tongue?
-
to let the cat out of the bag이라고 하면 자루에서 고양이를 풀어 놓다이므로
He let the cat out of the bag when he mentioned the party to her
- it was supposed to be a surprise.
to keep ∼ under your hat은 모자 속에 숨기는 것이니까
to keep ∼ in the bag은 자루 속에 있는 것이니까
one's lips are sealed.
-
a cat on a hot tin roof는
She's been like a cat on a hot tin roof ever since she heard he's back in town.
-
something the cat dragged in은
You look like something the cat brought in-go and have a bath.

^^Unfortunately, scores of students and policemen were injured in the
clashes, which virtually had the character of fierce street-to-street
fighting, as the students sought to go to Panmunjom, the truce village at
the DMZ, on Wednesday to greet two delegates on their return from
an illegal visit to the North on the occasion of National Liberation Day
on August 15.
