all gone away, and I must follow them. Stay here, won't you? Promise me?"
"Of course," answered Munira. "I'll put a lamp in the window every night
for you to come home by." Amin didn't come back that night. Nor the next
night, nor the next. For years, Munira lived on the seashells she
gathered on the beach during the day. She waited by the window with her
lamp at night. The other people of Lombok moved away, one by one. Soon,
Munira was alone. One day Munira's cousin, Zeinab, came to visit her
from the big city. "Come to the city and live with me!" said Zeinab. "I
can't," said Munira. "I can't let the lamp go out." The next night there
was a terrible storm. In the morning, Munira walked along the beach
looking for seashells. Suddenly, she saw her lost brother Amin! He was

Winter wonderland - sung by Anne Murray
-
Sleigh bells ring, are you listening
In the lane, snow is glistening
A beautiful sight, we're happy tonight
Walking in a winter wonderland
-
Gone away is the bluebird
Here to stay is a new bird
It sings a love song as we go along
Walking in a winter wonderland
-
In the meadow we can build a snowman
And pretend that he is parson Brown
He'll say "Are you married?"
We'll say "No, Man"
But you can do the job when you're in town
-
later on we'llconspire
As we dream by the fire
To face unafraid the plans that we made
Walking in a winter wonderland.
-

< Here I Go Again > performed by Whitesnake
==================================================
I don't know where I'm going
But, I sure know where I've been
Hanging on the promises
In songs of yesterday
An' I've made up my mind
I ain't wasting no more time
(문법적으로는 I'm not going to waste time anymore.
But, here I go again
Here I go again
Tho' I keep searching for an answer
[tho=tho'=though]
I never seem to find what I'm looking for
Oh Lord, I pray
You give me strength to carry on
Cos I know what it means
[cos=because]
To walk along the lonely street of dreams
An' here I go again on my own
Goin' down the only road I've ever known
Like a drifter I was born to walk alone
An' I've made up my mind
I ain't wasting no more time
I'm just another heart in need of rescue
Waiting on love's sweet charity
An' I'm gonna hold on
For the rest of my days
Cos I know what it means
To walk along the lonely street of dreams

In his poem "The Lady of Shalott," Lord Tennyson tells the story of a lady who sits weaving in her room all day long.
Afraid to join the world, she sits in front of a mirror the reflects the world she is not part of.
She doesn't know what it's like to experience the feelings that go along with life.

I've been thinking.
Y'know, about how I'm always seeing girls on top of girls
Are they end to end, or tall like pancakes?
Y'know what I mean, about how I'm always going out with all these women.
And I always figured, when the right one comes along, I'd be able to be a stand-up guy and go the distance, y'know?
Now I'm looking at my dad, thinking
Hey, you're not him.
You're you. When they were all over you to go into your father's pipe-fitting business, did you cave?
No.
-아니
No.
You decided to go into the out-of-work actor business. Now that wasn't easy, but you did it!

Look, I know it seems like we're these really bad guys, but we're cool. I swear.
There's just some stuff we gotta do. Just go along with it and you guys won't get hurt.
I don't even know what you want me to go along with. Is this some fraternity stunt?
- Yeah. Somethin' like that. - Fine. Whatever.
I will tell your friends whatever you want me to. Just let us go.
- It's not that simple. These people expect... - What people?

- I don't like pretending-- - Stop. Everybody stop.
There's no need to go along any further.
I see where you're going.

All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy.
This is a child's play.
to go out looking for an amusement
My favorite pastime is strolling along the shore.

Mr.Grandey: Now... I know THE NEWER THE TEACHER, THE SMARTEST SHE
IS, but
I, I'm afraid you're just going to have to go along
with our policies.
Even if you don't agree with them.
All right?
- Louanne
Louanne : Griffith.
Hal : DON'T LET THEM GET TO YOU.
Louanne : I'm not. In fact, I'm about to challange the entire
curriculum.

Mr.Grandey: Miss Johnson, the school board would have every right
to insist on your dismissal.
YOU INFORMED NO ONE.
You got no permission slips, ..
* slip : 쪽지
Louanne : Oh, but there was no one to inform.
All the kids just decided to go to amusement park at
the last minute...
.. and then they let me come along.
Mr.Grandey: Did they pay for you?
Louanne : No, I PAID FOR THEM.
I was just so moved by the invitation.
Mr.Grandey: This wasn't by any chance their reward for reading po
-etry?
Was it, Miss Johnson?
Louanne : In my class, Mr. Grandey, poetry is its own reward.

Scott: What's up, brother?
Remy : What's up, man?
Scott: READING IN THE DARK IS BAD FOR THE EYES.
Remy : I got good eyes.
Scott: What book are you reading?
Remy : Illiad.
Scott: That's a good book.
Lots of great battles in that book.
Remy : Yeah, it's alright.
Scott: You know, me and a couple of friends were going to go get
a drink down at this bar.
WANT TO COME ALONG?
Remy : Huh?
Scott: I said, me and my buddies are gonna get a drink.

Kristen: SOMEBODY'S GOT TO DO SOMETHING about how tense it's got.
I mean, we can't let the entire campus go crazy because
of the actions of some psycho.
Monet : What do you mean, "we?"
"We" don't have to do anything.
Just because you and I get along doesn't mean everybody
else has to.
I mean, you need to get that "We are the world" STUFF
OUT OF YOUR HEAD.
Because it's not going to happen.
Not on this campus.

Jerry: So WHAT'S THE BIG DEAL?
Lucy : What's the big deal?
Jerry, they think that I'm their future daughter-in-law.
And the grandmother, she got this heart thing.
If I told her the truth, she'd gonna have a heart attack,
she'd gonna die and IT'S GONNA BE ON MY HEAD.
Jerry: Well then, go along with it.
When Peter comes out of the coma, the family will be so
happy, they won't care that you lied to them.
They'll probably even thank you for it.

Morland : Um, there's a hospitality hut, wild boar roast, wash
in the river, tribal rituals - you know, that sort of
thing.
It's, it's like being one of the tribe really. IT'S
THE OPPORTUNITY OF A LIFETIME.
Duncan : I like it.
Catherine : I was uh thinking more along the lines of a million
kisses on your skin.
Morland : I BEG YOUR PARDON, Chipmunk?
Catherine : On Maui they have these natural slides formed from
these volcanic eruptions of obsidian.

Transportation secretary Rodney Slater has put together a panel
to study airline delays and cancellations. Met today with airline
officials along with the airport and aviation union leaders:
--We shared ideas. We've been open and frank. And, frankly another
good thing is that we didn't go into the meeting pointing fingers.
We actually talked about our collective responsibility.
One of the biggest problems is a huge jump in passengers in the past year.

In their letter to Hyundai, creditors abstained from mentioning
the problematic executives, but the Korea Exchange Bank sources said
that Hyundai Securities Chairman Lee Ik-chi and Hyundai Engineering & Construction
President Kim Yoon-kyu must go. Earlier on Tueday, Mr. Lee,
who went along with Chung on his North Korean visit, made clear
his intention to stay in his post. Even worse, Chung's family still
remains reluctant to sell their shareholdings in key Hyundai companies.
