Lawmakers of the National Congress for New Politics (NCNP) and
the Democratic Party (DP) generally agreed that the introduction
of the real-name accounts is one of the achievements of the Kim
Young-sam government but urged the government to take stronger
measures to prevent violations.
국민회의와 민주당 의원들은 실명제 도입이 김영삼 대통령의 업적이
었다는 점에 대해 대체로 일치된 입장을 나타내면서 실명제 위반을 막
기 위해서는 정부의 더욱 강력한 대책 마련이 필요하다고 역설하고 있
다.

``Despite the implementation of the real-name transaction
system, the size of the underground economy amounts to 30
trillion won. That betrays the fact that the real-name system is
nothing but a paper tiger,'' said Rep. Kim Hong-shin of the DP.
Rep. Kim suggested the government immediately implement a
currency reform to prevent the real-name system from ending in
failure.
민주당 김홍신의원은 "실명제 실시에도 불구하고 지하경제 규모는 30
조원에 이르고 있으며 이는 실명제가 종이호랑이에 불과하다는 증거"
라고 주장하고 "정부는 실명제가 실패로 끝나기 전에 화폐개혁을 즉각
실시하라"고 촉구했다.

최 연구원은 기업은행의 올해 이익이 줄어들 것으로 예상하며, 계속된 증자로 주식 수가 늘어 주당 배당금(DPS)도 더욱 낮아질 것으로 전망했다.
Researcher Choi expects the Industrial Bank of Korea's profits to decrease this year and predicted that the number of shares will increase due to continued capital increase, further lowering dividends per share.

이어 그는 "분기 배당금이 주당 110원으로 상승하면서 올해뿐만 아니라 내년 연간 주당배당금(DPS) 기대치도 덩달아 상승할 것으로 예상된다"고 덧붙였다.
"With quarterly dividends rising to KRW 110 per share, expectations for annual Dividends per Share (DPS) are expected to rise not only this year but also next year," he added.

Texas Instruments pioneered the computer transistor in 1958 and the first
commercial DSP in 1982. It holds about 47 percent of the world's
programmable DSP market. That market is seen growing by 30 percent a year
for the next five years, the company said, citing the research firm
Forward Concepts.
텍사스 인스투르먼트는 1958년 컴퓨터 트랜지스터 개발에 최초로 성공했고
1982년에는 상용 DSP를 처음으로 개발, 시판에 들어갔다. 이 회사는 앞으로
5년간 DPS시장은 연간 30%씩 성장할 것이라고 전망했다.
