그 물망초들의 잎과 줄기는 기울어지고 연약해 보였지만, 철사만큼이나 단단해 보였다.
이것은 건조하고 추운 바람이 부는 긴 겨울날씨로부터 자신들을 보호해주고 봄까지 생존할 수 있도록 해준다.
물망초의 파란 꽃은 ‘별의 이슬'과 같다.
