◆ hate, detest, loathe, despise, abhor
1) hate : 미움, 증오, 싫어함, 혐오 등을 표현하는 가장 일반적인 말입니다.
The governor was a brutal, ignorant man who was universally hated.

2) detest : 경멸감을 가지고 강하게 혐오할 때 사용합니다.
