* '입이 짧다' 즉 '입이 까다롭다'는 fussy about foods라 한다.
fussy는 '까다롭다'는 뜻인데 choosy, picky, finicky, fastidious등도
같은 의미이다. 입이 까다롭지 않고 무엇이나 잘 먹고 또 많이 먹는
사람을 점잖은 말로 glutton이라 하고 속된 말로 pig 즉 '돼지'라 한다.
그리고 뭐든지 많이 잘 먹는 것을 eat like a pig 또는
eat like a horse라 표현한다. '식욕'은 appetite라 하는데
have a great appetite라 하면 '식욕이 왕성하다' 는 말이다.
It makes my mouth water 또는 My mouth is watering이라 하면
'군침이 도는군' 정도의 뜻이 된다.
