Please take messages for me./ Could you get the message for
me?/ I'd like you to receive a message for me. 어느 것이나
「말씀을 전해 주십시오」라고 하는 것입니다. 긴급한 중대한
일은 an important business, an urgent business, an emergency
이밖에 a problem of great urgency라고도 씁니다. 「확인하기
위하여, 확인 때문에」는 to make sure, to make certain, to
check, to confirm 등이 있습니다. call in은 「전화를 넣다,
전화로 보고하다」이며, She called in sick.라고 하는 표현은
「전화로 병으로 인한 결근을 보고하다」는 의미로 쓰입니다.
