Dear sir,
Application for the post of Personal Secretary I have seen your advertisement for the post of personal secretary (PS68) in today's Daily News.
I am very keen to apply for this position and therefore now have pleasure in enclosing a copy of my curriculum vitae for your consideration.
My main reason for wishing to change my present employment is that I wish to widen my experience and am anxious to work for a firm that is trading with Western Europe.
As you will be able to see from my C.V. , I studied English in London from 1989 to 1992 and so I believe I now have quite a good command of English.
I would also like to add my brother is currently attached to our trade delegation to the European Community in Brussels, and so I feel I am quite familier with the trading situation in Western Europe.
I am able to attend for interview at any time at your convenience, but would be grateful if you would give me two days' notice.
If you decide to appoint me, I must give my present employers one month's notice, but will then be able to take up my duties at once.
I assure you I will always do my best to prove entirely satisfactory.

저는 오늘자 데일리 뉴스지에 보도된 비서직 (PS 68) 에 관한 선생님의 광고를 보았습니다.
저는 이 비서직에 응시하기를 바라고 있으며, 그래서 이력서 사본을 동봉해 보내 드리오니 참고해 주십시오.
제가 현직을 바꿔 보려는 주된 이유는 경험을 보다 넓히고 서유럽 무역 거래 회사에서 일하기를 원하기 때문입니다.
제 이력서에 나타나 있듯이 1989년부터 1992년까지 저는 런던에서 영어를 공부하였기 때문에 영어를 자유자재로 구사할 수 있습니다.
또한 저의 동생이 Brussels에 있는 유럽 공동체 본부에 우리 나라 통상 대표의 일원으로 현재 근무하고 있어서, 서유럽의 통상 실태에 대해 잘 알고 있습니다.
저는 선생님께서 필요로 하실 때면 언제나 인터뷰에 임할 수 있습니다만, 이틀간의 시간을 주시면 감사하겠습니다.
만일 저를 비서로 채용하시면 제 현재 고용주에게 한 달간의 여유를 드리고 난 후 근무를 시작하겠습니다.
