`A Petal' Captures 3 Prizes At Asia-Pacific Film Festival

``A Petal,'' the Korean movie depicting the bloody crackdown on
the Kwangju civil uprising in 1980, has captured three prizes at
the 41st Asia-Pacific Film Festival including the best picture
award.
80년 광주 민중 항쟁의 유혈진압을 묘사한 한국 영화 <꽃잎>이 제
41회 아시아태평양 영화제에서 최우수 작품상을 포함해 3개 부문을 휩
쓸었다.

Two more Korean movies including director Kim Young-bin's
``Terrorist'' were featured at the Asia-Pacific Film Festival but
won no prizes.
이번 아-태영화제에는 '꽃잎'이외에도 김영빈 감독의 <테러리스트>등
한국영화 2작품이 출품됐으나 수상은 하지 못했다.

ACG 연차총회는 아시아태평양지역 24개국 35개 예탁결제회사에서 150여명 이상이 참석하는 대규모 국제회의로 현재 한국예탁결제원이 ACG 의장기관 역할을 수행하고 있다.
The ACG annual meeting is a large-scale international conference attended by more than 150 people from 35 deposit settlement companies in 24 countries in the Asia-Pacific region, and the Korea Securities Depository currently serves as the chairman of the ACG.

예탁결제원은 제24차 ACG 총회 개최 때 금융중심지로서 부산을 홍보하고, 아시아·태평양지역 관련 기관과 협력 네트워크를 공고히 해 금융 한류가 확산되는 계기가 되게 할 방침이다.
When the 24th ACG General Assembly is held, the Korea Securities Depository will promote Busan as a financial hub and strengthen its cooperative network with related agencies in the Asia-Pacific region to serve as an opportunity for the spread of the financial Hallyu.

The signing ceremony was attended by key officials, including Woori Financial Group Chairman and Woori Bank President Sohn Tae-seung, SAP CEO Jennifer Morgan, SAP Asia-Pacific Chief Operating Officer Rachel Barger, Woori Financial Group Digital General Manager and Woori Bank Digital Finance Group President Hwang Won-chul.
