론스타는 하나금융이 외환은행 인수 협상 과정에서 매각가격을 지나치게 낮췄다며 국제상공회의소(ICC) 산하 국제중재재판소에 중재를 신청했지만 받아들여지지 않았다.
Lone Star applied for arbitration with the International Court of Arbitration under the International Chamber of Commerce and Industry, saying Hana Financial Group excessively lowered the sale price during negotiations to acquire KEB, but it was not accepted.

그래서 국제 중재가 국내 로펌 업계로선 초호재 '블루오션'으로 등장해 쾌재를 부르고 있다.

The first complaint seeking international arbitration to resolve an
Internet domain name dispute has been filed at the World Intellectual
Property Organization (WIPO), the United Nations agency said on Friday.

국제지적재산권기구(WIPO)에 접수됐다.

The alleged ``cyber-squatting'' case was filed at WIPO's arbitration and
mediation center on Thursday, a day after new rules aimed at curbing the
abuse of trademarks on the Internet took effect, according to a
statement.
WIPO는 3일 성명을 통해 이 분쟁은 '사이버스쿼팅(cyber-squatting)'과 관련된
것으로 인터넷상에서의 상표권 남용억제를 위한 WIPO의 새로운 규정이 발효된
지 하루만인 2일 WIPO의 조정 및 중재센터에 접수됐다고 밝혔다.

Under the ``Uniform Dispute Resolution Policy'' adopted by ICANN
following WIPO recommendations, a panel of experts named by the WIPO
arbitration and mediation center will review the claim and report its
decision within 45 days.
WIPO의 권고를 받아 ICANN가 채택한 통합분쟁조정절차는 도메인 분쟁 조정
신청이 접수되면 WIPO의 조정-중재센터가 지명한 전문가들로 구성된 패널이
신청 뒤 45일이내에 조정 결정을 내리도록 규정하고 있다.

국제투자분쟁해결을 위한 ICSID 중재의 이용에 따른 대처방안에 관한 연구
(A) study on some suggestions for the use of ICSID arbitration for resolution of international investment disputes

Basically, all disputes arising between the parties hereto in
connection with the Agreement shall be settled through
friendly consultations between the parties. In case no agreement
can be reached through consultations, all disputes, controversies
or differences which may arise between the parties out of or
in relation to or in connection with this Agreement or for the
breach thereof shall be finally settled by arbitration in Seoul,
Korea in accordance with the Commercial Arbitration Rules of
the Korean Commercial Arbitration Board and under the Law of
the Republic of Korea. The award rendered by the arbitrator
shall be final and binding upon both parties concerned.
본 계약과 관련 하여 발생하는 분쟁에 대해서는 우선적으로 상호
우의적인 협상으로 해결한다. 만약 이러한 방법으로 분쟁이 해결되지
않을 때는 대한민국 서울특별시에서 대한상사중재원의 상사중재 규칙
및 대한민국 법에 따라 중재에 의하여 최종적으로 해결된다.
중재에 의하여 내려진 판결은 최종적이며 계약당사자 쌍방에 대하여
구속력을 갖는다.
