By far the important key is the reinforcement of moral
education. The objective here is to *instill the idea of
sound moral values and right conduct into the minds of
individuals so that they may learn to abhor morally
*indictable conduct. This will require a radical change of
individuals to attain a higher moral self. The first
prerequisite to the becoming of a moral individual is the
abandonment of selfishness and self-interest. This in turn
requires respect for the community over and above
individuals.

◆ hate, detest, loathe, despise, abhor
1) hate : 미움, 증오, 싫어함, 혐오 등을 표현하는 가장 일반적인 말입니다.
The governor was a brutal, ignorant man who was universally hated.
(그 통치자는 누구나 싫어하는 포악하고 무식한 사람이었다.)
2) detest : 경멸감을 가지고 강하게 혐오할 때 사용합니다.
I used to detest Doctor Fischer more than anyone I've ever known.
(나는 내가 알고 있는 어떤 사람보다도 피셔 박사를 혐오해 왔다.)
3) loathe : detest보다 더 강한 뜻을 가지고 있는 단어로 보통 사람이나 사람의 행동에 대해 쓰입니다.
