The great developments in science and technology give us more free time to enjoy ourselves.
But people who don't know how to spend their weekends are under stress.
So having a hobby has become a “duty” in modern society.
But problems rise when people seek expensive hobbies to show off their wealth rather than because they have a personal interest in something.
This contributes to worsening the relationship between the haves and have-nots.
취미를 갖는 주요한 목적들 중의 하나는 시간 보내기이다.
과학과 기술의 위대한 발전은 자신의 여가를 즐길 수 있는 더 많은 자유를 주었다.
그러나 주말을 어떻게 보내야 할 지 모르는 사람들은 스트레스를 받는다.
그래서 취미를 갖는다는 것은 현대사회에서는 의무가 되었다.
그러나 사람들이 어떤 일에 개인적인 관심이 있어서가 아니라 그들의 부를 자랑하기 위해 비싼 취미를 갖게 될 때 문제가 발생하게 된다.
이와 같은 상황이 가진 자와 못 가진 자 사이에 관계를 악화를 초래한다.

Language is an indispensable instrument of human society. It is the means by
which individuals understand each other and are enabled to function together as a
community. Indeed, it is unlikely that any human organization could either be formed
or long maintained without language. Certainly, in the absence of communication,
the complex structure of modern society would be utterly impossible.

change into a new economic system where human resourcefulness count far
more than natural resources. It is brain power that can guarantee our
economic success in the midst of the fierce competition of the current
free world market.

분명히 현대사회는 인적자원이 천연자원보다 훨씬 중요한 새로운 경제
체제로의 커다란 변화에 직면하고 있다. 현재의 자유세계시장의 격렬한 경쟁의
와중에 경제적 성장을 보장할 수 있는 것은 바로 지적인 힘인 것이다.
