shampoo는 말 그대로 샴푸입니다.
힌두어에서 나온 이 말의 원뜻은 '밀다'. 옛날에는 밀거나 두드려 빨았기 때문이죠.
미용실에 가서 I don't need shampoo라고 하면 전 샴푸 할 필요 없어요.

하지만 rinse는 '헹구다'는 의미입니다.
I rinsed (out) my mouth(a busket).
나는 입을 가시었다(양동이를 헹구었다).

treatment는 치료죠. 손상된 머리 결을 치료한다고 트리트먼트라고 합니다.
treatment는 대접이라는 의미도 있습니다.
그래서 각자 계산할 때 더치 페이라고 하면 잘못된 표현이고

붉은 카페트를 깔고 손님을 맞는 것이므로 특별대우라는 의미입니다.
