Most of the middle-school texts are full of sidebars, boxes, and other presumably eye-catching special features bearing such titles as
“Flex Your Brain!”, “EXPLORE!”, “Find Out!”, and “Minds On!”
The claim is often made that with today's generation of television-reared children, books need to offer all sorts of bright, short, attention-getting features.
But several studies show the opposite: Some children try to read through a whole page from top to bottom as if it were a “traditional” text and become confused by the sudden jumps into sidebar material and captions.
Others look at the picture captions but never read the text.
Still others read the text but never read the feature titles.

4. 너나 잘 해 Why don't you mind your own business?
(의외로 많은 분들이 물어 본 표현인데 몇 가지 대안 중에
저는 위의 표현을 택했습니다. None of your business. 도 비슷하나
어감을 살리기 위해선 반어체인 Why dont you...? 가 더 어울립니다.
우리는 중학교 때 그냥 Why don't you...?가 명령문과 같다고 배웠지만
실제로는 좀 건방진 느낌이 드는 말입니다. 즉, 내가 생각하기에 네가
그 일을 꼭 해야 하는데 왜 지금 안하고 있니? 라는 뜻으로 좀 무례하게
들릴 수 있습니다. 덧붙여 You'd better... 라는 표현은 이보다 더 건방진
표현으로서 듣는 사람이 아주 싫어 할 수 있습니다. 이런 미묘한 어감을
몰라서 안 가르치는지, 교과서에 나오니 그냥 쓰는지, 생각 없이 사용하는
분들이 의외로 많은데 주의해서 잘 사용해야 되는 표현들입니다)
