최근 U.N.의 통계 자료는 경고하고 있다. 개발도상국의 외채가 $1.3조에 달하고 있으며, (선진)공업국의 1인당 국민소득이 $18,000인 반면 후진국과 중진국에서는 $800에 불과하다는 것이다.
이상직 중진공 이사장은 "경제위기를 극복하고 소상공인과 중소벤처기업 중심의 경제를 구축하기 위해 양 기관이 앞장서기로 했다"고 말했다.

The forum was attended by related agencies, including the Korea SMEs and Startups Agency's Seoul regional headquarters, Seoul southeastern branch, Gangwon regional headquarters and the Korea Credit Guarantee Fund, the Korea Technology Finance Corporation, and the Korea Testing Laboratory, to explain various government support policies, certification systems, and investment attraction strategies to some 200 young start-ups.
