◆ bare, naked, nude, stripped
네 단어 모두 "(옷 등을) 벗은, 입지 않은"이라는 의미의 형용사입니다.
1) bare : 이 단어는 "물건, 물체, 사물"에 적용되는 말로 덮개나 장식이 없을 때 사용합니다.
그리고 사람에게 사용될 때는 신체의 전부보다는 일부를 일컫습니다. 좀 더 넓게 얘기해서
화려한 미사구나 장식 내지는 군더더기가 없다는 의미로도 사용됩니다.

감탄을 자아낼 수 있도록 만들어진 것을 뜻하여 옷을 입지 않은 상태의 풍만한 육체를
나타냅니다. nude는 naked보다 긍정적인 뜻으로 패션 디자이너들이 nude fashion (naked
fashion이라고는 절대 부르지 않습니다.)을 만들어 내기도 합니다. 같은 이유로 벗은 몸으로
자다라고 할 때 sleeping in the naked가 아닌 "sleeping in the nude"를 사용하시는 게 좋겠습니다.
4) stripped : 이 단어는 문자 그대로 번역하면 위의 세 단어와 같은 것을 뜻하나 상징적인 의미 로 "빼앗긴"으로도 자주 쓰입니다.
