4. “공중합체(共重合體)”란 단일 단량체(單量體) 단위가 구성 중합체 전 중량의 100분의 95 이상의 중량비를 가지지 않은 모든 중합체를 말한다. 이 류의 공중합체(共重合體)(공중합축합체ㆍ공중합부가체ㆍ블록공중합체ㆍ그라프트공중합체를 포함한다)와 혼합중합체는 문맥상 달리 해석되지 않는 한 최대 중량의 공단량체(共單量體) 단위가 해당하는 호로 분류한다. 이 경우 동일 호로 분류되는 중합체의 공단량체(共單量體) 단위를 단일 공중합체(共重合體)를 구성하는 것으로 본다. 만약, 최대 중량단위의 단일 공단량체(共單量體)가 없을 때에는 동일하게 분류가능한 해당 호 중에서 마지막 호로 분류한다.
4. The expression “copolymers” covers all polymers in which no single monomer unit contributes 95 % or more by weight to the total polymer content. For the purposes of this Chapter, except where the context otherwise requires, copolymers (including co-polycondensates, co-polyaddition products, block copolymers and graft copolymers) and polymer blends are to be classified in the heading covering polymers of that comonomer unit which predominates by weight over every other single comonomer unit. For the purposes of this Note, constituent comonomer units of polymers falling in the same heading shall be taken together.If no single comonomer unit predominates, copolymers or polymer blends, as the case may be, are to be classified in the heading which occurs last in numerical order among those which equally merit consideration.

(a) Pig iron
“선철(銑鐵)”이란 실용상 단조(鍛造)에 적합하지 않은 철－탄소의 합금으로서 탄소의 함유량이 전 중량의 100분의 2를 초과하고, 다음에 열거한 하나 이상의 그 밖의 원소의 함유량이 중량비로 다음 한도 이하인 것을 말한다.
Iron-carbon alloys not usefully malleable, containing more than 2 % by weight of carbon and which may contain by weight one or more other elements within the following limits :
  - 크로뮴             100분의 10
- not more than 10 % of chromium
  - 망간               100분의 6
- not more than 6 % of manganese
  - 인                 100분의 3
- not more than 3 % of phosphorus
  - 규소               100분의 8
- not more than 8 % of silicon
  - 그 밖의 원소의 함유량의 합계 100분의 10
- a total of not more than 10 % of other elements
