ICs like these approach "systems on a chip," in which all electronic functions
of a product, computer, cellular phone, or video camera, for example, exist
in a single piece of silicon perhaps a few centimeters square.
칩하나에 모든 시스템을 집약하는 이런 접근 방법은

Experts predict 4 gigabits (Gb; 1 gigabit = 1 billion bits) in the early 2000s.
