* dustman이 '쓰레기 청소부'라는 말이외에 '졸음'이라는 뜻으로
도 쓰인다는데?
-> 졸릴때 눈에 먼지가 들어간 것처럼 눈을 비비는 동작을 보고
이것을 의인화하여 지어낸 말이 dustman이라고 한다. 즉 dust-
man이 눈에 들어와서 졸립다고 생각하느데서 나온 재밌는 표현
이라고 한다.
ex) The dustman is coming.
=Ha, you're getting sleepy.
너 졸립구나.
비슷한 발상으로 sandman이라는 표현도 역시 '졸음'이라는 의미
가 된다.
