Human cloning arouses many ethical questions such as when does human life begin, or whether it is right to use human embryos for experiments.
인간 체세포 복제는 인간생명이 언제 시작되느냐, 인간의 배아를 수단으로 삼을 수 있느냐 등 많은 윤리적 문제를 야기하고 있다.
However, the science of cloning is also used for good purposes in many fields, such as the treatment and prevention of incurable diseases, and organ transplants.

김동식 고려대 안암병원 장기이식 센터장은 "장기 이식을 받은 환자의 암 발생률이 그렇지 않은 사람보다 더 높다"며 "피부암이 대표적인데, 국내에서는 위암, 폐암, 대장암 등의 발생률이 높다"고 설명했다.
