M2(총통화):시중 자금을 측정하는 잣대중의 하나.
시중은행과 기업 개인등이 보유하고 있는 현금과 당좌예금 보통예금등
요구불 예금에다 정기예금 정기적금 거주자 외화예금등 저축성 예금을 합친
것. 여기에 포함되는 자산은 언제든지 쉽게 현금화할 수 있다는 공통점이
있다.
MCT:M2에다 은행 양도성예금증서(CD)와 신탁계정 예금이 추가로
포함된다. 이것 역시 시중자금을 측정하는 잣대중 하나다.
이 때문에 모인의 해외송금 업무에 대해서만 정부가 과도하게 까다로운 잣대를 들이대는 것은 형평성에 맞지 않는다는 것이 업계의 지적이다.
