=> Stork(황새)는 목, 부리, 다리가 긴 것을 특징으로 하는

라는 이름을 갖게 된 것은 예수님의 죽음과 관련이 되어

서, Sticka! Sticka!하고 외쳤답니다. 이 Sticka는 Stre
-ngthen라는 뜻인데, 따라서 황새는 Sticka에서 Stork이
라는 이름으로 영어에서 변형이 되었고, 이때부터 황새
Stork는 生, 復活의 의미를 지니게 되었답니다. 서양 어
린이 동화에서는 황새가 어린이를 물고 날아 온다는 이야
기가 있습니다. 이 이야기는 대대로 이어져서 오늘날까지
도 전해지고 있죠. 아이의 탄생을 축하하는 Card를 보면
황새가 얇은 기저귀용 천에 감싸인 아이를 부리로 몰고
오는 그림들을 많이 발견할 수 있습니다.
