류순열 도 아동복지팀장은 "이번 G드림카드 시스템 전면 개편은 급식 아동들이 어느 곳에서나 차별 받지 않고 당당하게 식사할 수 있도록 해 사회 구성원으로서 자신감을 갖도록 하기 위한 조치"라고 설명했다.
Ryu Soon-yeol, head of the children's welfare team in the province, explained, "The complete overhaul of the G Dream Card system is a measure to allow children provided with meals to eat proudly anywhere without discrimination so that they can have confidence as members of society."
그동안 가정위탁이 끝나거나 아동복지시설 등에서 퇴소한 보호종료아동은 사회적·경제적 여건으로 공적 주거지원이 시급했지만 입주조건이 까다롭고 거주기간이 제한적이라 공공임대주택 이용률이 상대적으로 낮았다.
Until now, children who have been terminated from their foster homes or have been discharged from child welfare facilities were in urgent need of public housing support due to social and economic conditions, but the use rate of public rental housing was relatively low due to difficult occupancy conditions and limited residence periods.
이번 지원금은 예산 부족으로 자체 방역에 어려움을 겪고 있는 지역아동센터·보육원 등 서울·경기 소재 160여개 아동복지시설에 지원된다.
This subsidy will be provided to about 160 child welfare facilities in Seoul and Gyeonggi-do, including local children's centers and nurseries, which are struggling with self-prevent measures due to lack of budget.
지역내 의료기관, 어린이집, 유치원, 초·중·고, 산후조리원, 아동복지시설 등 230개소, 5000여명이 대상이다.
The target is about 5,000 people, including 230 medical institutions, daycare centers, kindergartens, elementary, middle and high schools, postpartum care centers, and children's welfare facilities in the region.
