has been taken over by Prendall industries and is now part of the
Prendall group of companies.
Details of the take-over and how it will affect employees will be sent

1. Salaries and wages will not be affected.
2. Management positions will not be affected, although Organization and
Management consultants will be looking at our methods of production with
a view to improving efficiency.
3. Reorganization will take place over the next year as Prendall intends
to expand Winford Calculators' production so that it will become a major
electronic component supplier to their own industries.
4. Winford Calculators will retain its own name and identity and fulfill
all contracts and obligations it was committed to prior to the take-over.
The Board of Directors and Union representatives of Winford Calculators
have already met with Mr. Prendall, who has given us the above undertakings
both verbally and in writing.

Farming began about 12,000 years ago and it has developed very quickly in
the last 300 years. There are no signs that the speed of development will
slow down. Agriculture will continue to develop in three main ways.
First, farming will become even more efficient by using new types of
technology. Many processes will be controlled by computers. Second, new

◆ affect, effect
affect와 effect는 영어를 모국어로 쓰는 사람이라 할지라도 종종 혼돈되어 쓰입니다.
그러나 비슷한 뜻을 가진 두 단어의 쓰임새 차이는 무엇보다 중요한 것이 affect는
동사로 쓰이고, effect는 대체로 명사로 쓰인다는 것입니다.
The really hot weather affected everybody's ability to work.
(정말 더운 날씨는 어느 누구나의 일의 능률에 영향을 미쳤다.)
I know my neighbours play loud music late at night, but that doesn't affect me. I can sleep through anything.

되지만 중추성 원인과 관련될 수 있다.
과학적 관리법(scientific management)
1980년대 테일러(Taylor, F.W.)에 의해 제창된 관리 방식으로서 테일러시스템이
라고도 부른다. 19세기말 미국에서 경영 능률을 증진하는 운동이 일어났을 때,
테일러는 공장 노동자가 조직적으로 태업하는 것을 방지하기 위해 과업의
설정과 그 수행을 중심에 주도 시간 및 동작연구, 직능별 직반장제도,
