경제 부문 기사에서 자주 등장하고 있는 것 중의 하나로서 특정
기업 또는 상품의 시장 점유율을 찾아 볼 수 있습니다. 시장
점유율은 market share 또는 mart share라고 합니다. 관련 기사를
쉽게 이해하고 나중에라도 이 부문에 대한 글을 쓸 수 있기
위해서는 관련된 표현이라든지 용어를 알아 두실 필요가
있습니다. 오늘은 market share와 관련된 용어들을 정리해 보기로
하겠습니다.
먼저 market share에 대한 의미부터 살펴보면, market share는
어떤 회사 또는 그 회사의 상품이 업계에서 차지하고 있는
매출량의 비율을 말합니다 (market share refers to the
percentage of sales in an industry of a particular company or
its product).
한국의 대표적인 주력 상품의 하나인 전자제품 (electronics
products 또는 electronics goods)은 국내에서 가전 3사에 의해
분퐘었다라는 의미를 나타낼 때 사용되고 있습니다.
시장점유율이 2위로 있던 상품이 1위로 있는 상품을 따돌리고
시장을 차지하고 있는 경우를 볼 수 있는데 이러한 경우 사용되는
단어로 overtake가 있습니다. 이 단어는 운전 시에 다른 차를
추월하는 경우에도 쓰여서 I tried to overtake the car going so
slow that I couldn"t stand it (앞에 가는 차가 너무 천천히
달려서 도저히 참을 수 없어 추월을 하려 했다)와 같이 쓸 수
있는 단어입니다.

외국 기업들과의 경쟁에서의 승리를 다루었지만 동시에 국내 기업
3사간에 벌어질 경쟁에 따라 이들의 이윤이 줄어드는 경우도
생각해 볼 수 있습니다. 예를 들어

있어야 될 중요한 표현들입니다.

We which to ensure that the scope of the investigation (and any order that may result)
does not include products in which the petitioner has no interest. Attention should be
given especially to whether the prospective petitioner has unintentionally included
products that are not produced domestically.
대상물품에 대한 장래의 의문을 최소화하기 위하여 가능한 한 범위가
정확하게 정의되어야 한다. 또한 의도하지 않은 물품이 대상에 포함되는
것도 피해야 한다. 제소자가 관심이 없는 물품이 포함되지 않도록 조사

제2조 (정의) 이 법에서 사용하는 용어의 정의는 다음과 같다.
Article 2 (Definition)
For the purpose of this Act, the definition of terms shall be as follow:
1. "사법공조"라 함은 재판상 서류의 송달 또는 증거조사에 관한
국내절차의외국에서의 수행 또는 외국절차의 국내에서의 수행을 위하여 행하는
법원 기타공무소 등의 협조를 말한다.

other public office, etc. for carrying out in a foreign country domestic
formalities on service of documents or examination of evidence in a trial,
or for carrying out in Korea the foreign formalities thereon;
2. "외국으로의 촉탁"이라 함은 대한민국 법원이 외국법원 기타 공무소 또는
외국에주재하는 대한민국의 대사·공사 또는 영사에 대하여 하는 사법공조촉탁을
말한다.
2. the term "entrustment to a foreign country" means an entrustment of
judicial cooperation made by a court of the Republic of Korea to a foreign
court or other public office, or the ambassador, minister or consul of the
Republic of Korea to the foreign country; and
3. "외국으로부터의 촉탁"이라 함은 외국법원이 대한민국의 법원에 대하여
하는사법공조촉탁을 말한다.
3. the term "entrustment by a foreign country" means an entrustment of
judicial cooperation made by a foreign court to a court of the Republic of
Korea.
