정부공직자윤리위원회가 26일 관보에 공개한 2020년도 정기재산변동사항에 따르면 김 장관의 재산은 지난해 11월 공개 당시 대비 3억9745만원 증가한 19억4000만원으로 신고됐다.

Prior to July 1, 1996, a Deputy Assistant Secretary (DAS) for Investigations was
responsible for conducting the initial investigations and a DAS for Compliance
was responsible for administrative reviews. On July 1, 1996, IA was reorganized
and these two DAS groups were reconfigured to form three DAS groups. Under
this new structure, all offices work on investigations and administrative reviews.
The same team follows the case from the investigation through the annual review
process. Greater certainty ensures consistency in handling the various segments
of the same case and takes advantage of the experience gained by the team during
the course of a case.
1996년 7월 1일 이전에는 최초 조사는 조사담당 부차관보가, 연례재심은
이행담당 부차관보가 관장하였다. 수입행정실은 96년 7월 1일 2명의 부차
관보를 3명으로 조정하여 모든 부서가 최초조사와 행정재심을 담당하고
있다. 즉 동일한 팀이 조사에서부터 연례재심까지 맡고 있다. 이는 동일
한 사건의 다양한 부분을 취급하는데 일관성을 유지하고 사건을 조사하
는 과정에서 얻은 경험을 활용할 수 있다는 확신에서 이루어진 조치이다.
