Of the many factors that contributed to the growth of international tourism in
the 1950's, one of the most important was the advent of jet travel in 1958.

In order to get foreign and Korean tourists to see Korea first, the
nation has to elevate its competitiveness in terms of both prices and
services, create new attractions and expand infrastructure for the
domestic tourist industry. The new policy needs further study before
implementation.
국내외 관광객들을 우선 한국으로 몰려오게 만들기 위해서, 정부는 먼저
가격과 서비스에서 경쟁력을 높여야 하고, 새로운 볼거리를 마련하면서, 국
내 관광산업을 위한 인프라를 확장해야 한다. 새로운 관광 진흥 정책은 시
행에 앞서 더 많은 연구 검토를 거쳐야 한다.
