The amount of guarantees for joint purchases by small and medium-sized companies is expected to exceed 100 billion won for the first time this year.

올 1월∼4월에 추진된 공동구매는 월 평균 200억원 수준으로 전년 동일 기간 평균 37억원 대비 5.4배가 증가했다.
The group purchase, which was carried out between January and April this year, averaged 20 billion won per month, up 5.4 times from an average of 3.7 billion won during the same period last year.

김기문 중기중앙회 회장은 "공동구매 전용보증 사업은 중소기업의 원가절감, 가격경쟁력 제고에 기여해 최근 활용 실적이 대폭 확대되고 있다"고 말했다.
Kim Ki-moon, chairman of the Korea Federation of SMEs, said, "The joint purchase-only guarantee project has contributed to the cost reduction and price competitiveness of SMEs, and its utilization performance has been greatly expanded recently."

이번 협약으로 신용보증기관이 공동구매 참여기업을 대상으로 보증서를 발급하고, 기업은행은 구매자금 지원을 전담한다.
Under this agreement, credit guarantee institutions will issue guarantees to companies participating in joint purchases, while IBK (Industrial Bank of Korea) will be in charge of providing purchase funds.

김 회장은 "4차 산업혁명 시대는 협력과 네트워크가 경쟁력의 원천"이라며 "가뜩이나 경영자원이 부족한 중소기업 입장에서는 협동조합 육성 조례가 공동으로 생산·구매·판매에 나서고 기술 개발도 제도적으로 촉진하는 전환점이 될 수 있다"고 지적했다.
In the era of the 4th industrial revolution, cooperation and networks are sources of competitiveness, Chairman Kim pointed out, saying, "For small and medium-sized companies that already lack management resources, the ordinance on fostering cooperatives can be a turning point to jointly produce, purchase and sell and systematically promote technology development."

공동 구매 group buying

The Financial Supervisory Service (FSS) is suspected of attempting to
cover up the illegal operations of overseas warrant funds following
the Ministry of Finance and Economy’s decision to revise related laws,
financial sources said. A warrant is a security entitling the holder
to buy a proportionate amount of stocks at some specified future date
at a specified price, usually one higher than the current market price.
Warrants are thus somewhat like call options, but with much longer
time spans, and they are pooled to form warrant funds.
금융감독원(FSS)은 재정경제부의 관련법규 개정결정에 따라 해외
워런트펀드의 불법 운용을 은폐하려 했다는 의혹을 받고 있다고
금융 소식통이 밝혔다. 워런트는 그 소지자가 향후 특정 시점에
통상 시장 현시가보다 더 높은 약정 가격으로, 그에 해당하는 양의
주식을 구매할 수 있는 권리가 부여되는 유가증권의 일종이다.
따라서 워런트는 콜 옵션과 다소 유사하나, 그 행사기간이 훨씬 더
길며 워런트 펀드 구성을 위해 공동 관리된다.

[협동조합] cooperative
* 정의: 회원 공동의 목적을 위해 사업을 하는 개인이나 회사들의 단체.
A cooperative is an association of individuals or firms whose purpose is to perform some business function for all its members. Members benefit from the activities of the cooperative because it can perform its function more effectively than any member could by acting alone.
1) 회비 = membership fee
The cooperative's members pay membership fees, which cover its operating costs. Members also pay for services provided by the cooperative as they use them
2) 구매조합 = buying cooperative
Buying cooperatives purchase goods in bulk (대량으로) and distribute them to members, the unit cost (단위비용) is lower than it would be if each member bought the goods in a much smaller quantity.
3) 신용협동조합 = credit union
Cooperatives such as credit unions are owned by their members, and they may or may not be incorporated. (법인화하다). When they are, the corporation is usually not for profit. (비영리의).
4) 농업협동조합 = agricultural cooperative
Although cooperatives are found in all segments of our economy, they are most prevalent in agriculture. Farmers use cooperatives to purchase supplies, to buy services such as trucking and storage, and to market their products.
