The yak is an animal about the size of a small ox. It lives in Tibet, a province on
a high plateau in China. The inhabitants use the yak for transportation. They also
drink the yak's milk, eat its meat for food, and weave its fur into cloth. The yak is the
most useful animal in Tibet.
