oppress 압박하다

Korea has been lauded as a successful model in coping with the financial crisis, but to people in countries such as Nepal, Bangladesh and Pakistan, it has exported the image of a "horrible country."
한국은 경제위기를 훌륭하게 대처한 것으로 칭찬을 받고 있지만, 네팔, 방글라데시, 파키스탄과 같은 나라 사람들에게는 한국이 “끔찍한 나라”라는 이미지를 심어주고 있다.
A Japanese writer said, "Koreans who had suffered have now become a people who oppress others."
한 일본 작가가 “한 때 고통을 받았었던 한국인들이 지금 다른 사람들을 억압하고 있다.”고 말했다.
Her book continues, "Korea is a country where foreigners find it difficult to live.
