One evening, my sister-in-law's family decided that they would fly the American flag
every day instead of just on special days. The next morning they carried out

door. When my sister-in-law answered it, she found the mailman standing there. Pointing
to the flag, he asked, "Why is the flag flying today?"
After listening to the explanation, the mailman walked away saying, "Thanks. I just
wanted to make sure I wasn't working on my day off."
