The city of Kalamazoo, Michigan, derives its name from a Native
American word meaning "bubbling springs."
미시간주의 Kalamazoo 라는 도시는 "bubbling springs." (거품이
일어나는 샘물)을 의미하는 미국원주민의 단어로부터 그 이름이 유래한다.

Farmers of maize, beans, and tobacco, the Wendat, Native
American tribes that inhabited present-day Michigan, lived
a sedentary life in densely populated villages.
옥수수, 콩, 담배 등을 재배하는 농부들, 즉, 오늘날의 미시간에 거주했던 원주민
부족들인 Wendat 족은, 인구가 밀집한 마을에서 평온한 인생을 살았다.

( 담당구역 내의 교통과 치안을 담당합니다. )
* 미국에는 대학내에도 따로 사법경찰이 있다고 합니다.
여기의 경찰은 교내의 잘못된 것을 다루게 되죠.

with English. (He will) not be able to work as efficiently as native
speakers, but (he can) probably carry out assignments if (he) has
sufficient necessary background and is otherwise positive."
