[比較] stick, adhere, cohere, cling, cleave
stick은 단순하고, 구어적이고, 가장 일반적인 말로, 처음에는 꽂아 넣거나 묻어 넣어서 고착하는 것을 의미했지만, 지금은 풀 따위로 어떤 방법으로든지 한데 붙여서 고착시키는 뜻을 품고 있고 비유적으로도 쓰인다.

그리고 무슨 말이 입 안에서만 뱅뱅 돌고 잘 나오지 않을 때,
다시 말하면 기억이 날듯 날듯 하면서도 얼른 생각이 나지 않을 때
